One Hundred Miles

“Flows from here.”

Background:

While most people are aware of its lovely beaches, few are aware of the people, places, and history that make Georgia’s 100-mile coastline essential to our state. One Hundred Miles–a non-profit focused on coastal preservation and conservation–received a grant from the Woodruff Foundation to educate Georgians about their coast.

The Ask:

A campaign to celebrate and educate Georgians about their unique 100-mile coastline.

Insight:

People tend to take better care of something when it’s theirs–for example, the level of care you took when you were driving your parent’s car versus the first one you purchased.

Strategy:

Make the message personal and instill a sense of ownership for the coast in every single Georgian.

Output:

“Our Georgia Coast”–a campaign celebrating everything that flows from the Georgia coast, anchored by docu-style videos that weave together real stories from people making a difference (visit ourgeorgiacoast.org to learn more or get involved).

Project done for Tailfin Marketing.
